I am trying to pair my phone (RIM blackberry 8100 black and a Motorola bluetooth H500 nickel), however, my RIM is not finding my bluetooth H500, (which I used for a previous phone I no longer have).
I ordered a H550, (I was told was the latest bluetooth for the RIM pearl at the time), now the H550 is discontinued and the H500 is compairable/compatible.
I have enabled my bluetooth H500 and searched for the new device, however my RIM pearl is not accepting it.
I have not set up a bluetooth for this phone yet and this would be the RIM’s first bluetooth.
Is there something that I am not doing?
Could it be that my old bluetooth (H500) is still attached to my old phone and needs to be re-configured some how? If so, how can I do that without my old phone?
Please advise ASAP!!!
