I plan to buy a Samsung phone and a Motorola bluetooth, but I’m not sure as to if I’d have to specify a brand that is compatible with Samsung. Do I have to specify compatibility with brands of phones and bluetooths?

okay so i went through all the steps to get it to try n recognize my bluetooth headset, but unfortunately it didn’t find it. am i doing something wrong? or does the Motorola H500 not work with the Instinct? i don’t see why it wouldn’t though. any suggestions????
